Private Health Insurance

If you're a member of a private health fund, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for counselling services. The rebate amount depends on your level of coverage, so I recommend contacting your health fund directly to confirm your entitlements.

I am a registered provider with BUPA and an Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG) provider for the following health funds:

  • Police Health Fund

  • Emergency Services Health

  • Phoenix Health

  • St Lukes Health

  • GMHBA

  • CUA Health (telehealth services only)

  • Teachers Union Health

  • AIA

  • Westfund

If your health fund is listed, you may be able to claim rebates for in-person or telehealth counselling services, depending on your plan.

Appointment Information

Ongoing counselling sessions are approximately 50 minutes long and are typically scheduled on the hour.

For added convenience, after-hours and Saturday morning appointments are available upon request. The initial consultation is generally longer, lasting up to 90 minutes, to allow for a more in-depth exploration of your needs and goals.

Feeling a little anxious before your first appointment is natural- this is a common experience. Rest assured, counselling is a confidential space where your experiences will be met with empathy, understanding, and without judgment.

Please note that the practice has a 48-hour cancellation policy outlined on the intake form. A fee for missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged.

Repeated late cancellations or failure to pay the cancellation fee may result in the discontinuation of services.
